BioWelcome to Poppy's fandom journal!
In an on-going effort to overcompartmentalize my life, I've made this journal to be a fan in. Though as a fan I have little to no shame, there are still plenty of people that I would prefer don't ever find out how much fanfic I read. So this journal will remain officially anonymous. If you know me in real life and find me here, please send me an e-mail to let me know that you've discovered my secret.
I lurk. I've been a lurking fan for over a decade and I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that I'll probably always lurk. I'm sorry. I read you story and loved it and didn't comment; I'm a bad fan. Lurking isn't something that I do on purpose, it's just sort of... part of my personality. I want to be an active fan, but I can never sustain it. I'm working on it, though.
Anyway, I doubt I'll be posting in this journal. I don't really have anything to add to fandom. Which is pretty much why I lurk. But occasionally I have to post comments or, you know, join a community in order to get at locked stories, or beg you to friend me because you're awesome; this journal is for that.
Due to paranoia, this journal will be friends-only as of 11/6/09. But I'm sure that I'll basically friend anyone. Um, and no one is reading this anyway. So... just FYI.
